Bus Parking
The South Jersey Transportation Authority, as successor to the Atlantic County Transportation Authority, is responsible for promulgating, adopting and enforcing rules and regulations regarding the Motorbus Industry in Atlantic County.
All Motorbuses entering the County are required to have a permit issued by the South Jersey Transportation Authority and are required to follow designated routes in and around Atlantic City. The Authority can be reached during regular business hours at 609-344-4149 or by fax at 609-344-7409 or by e-mail.
The South Jersey Transportation Authority is pleased to welcome you to Atlantic County, and is eager to work with the Motorbus Industry in providing a safe, efficient means of transportation for our visitors and friends.
For your information, the Atlantic City Office of SJTA now has a toll free telephone number for the bus industry to use for contacting our office. The number is 1-888-5NJ-SJTA. This number may be used 24 hours per day, seven days a week to reach the Authority from anywhere in the United States and Canada.

The following listings show which locations are licensed to received bus groups and have their bus park at that location. Under state law, no bus may remain at that location unless the entire charter group is lodged there. In Atlantic City, all buses are to go to SJTA approved bus parking facilities, as there is no on-site parking allowed in Atlantic City. All Atlantic City casinos are approved for bus groups with no overnight parking permitted.
